    THE HIDDEN TREASURES IN PLANTS: FOR FOOD SECURITY, HEALTHY AND WEALTHY LIFE

    Food Technology is the application of Food Science principles to process, preserve and make food available, accessible and better utilized. It can also create various decent jobs or entrepreneurial opportunities for income generation. God‟s picture for man from the beginning was to save; to preserve him and conserve the earth. He wanted to make him to be food and nutritionally secured, to stay healthy, working His purpose and to live a „wealthy‟ life. Man was blessed to be fruitful, to increase and to keep replenishing the earth (Genesis 1:28). However, when man works in the opposite direction to this agenda, gaps are created. The world today is filled with different forms of gaps and challenges such as food insecurity, hunger, malnutrition, unemployment and poverty. Every good work helps to close gaps.
