    Taxonomic evaluation of some members of the Genus Bridelia. (Phyllanthaceae)

    This study identified additional morphological characters among the species that will enhance their identification, carried out inventory of the foliar and wood anatomical characters and ascertained pollen morphological characters that are taxonomically important among the species. The species are Bridelia atroviridis Muell. Arg., Bridelia ferruginea Benth and Bridelia micrantha (Hochst.) Bail. These were with a view to providing detailed information on the morphology, anatomy and palynology of the species of the selected plants of genus Bridelia.
