dc.description.abstractThe study examined the judicial interpretation of the constitutios in selected commonwealth jurisdictions. It also undertook a survey of the theories of constituitonal interpretation and adjudication, examined the rules applied by the courts in the interpretation of the provisions of the constitutions and determined the extent to which the existin approaches to the interpretation of the constitution have hindered the development of constitutional jurisprudence in some selected commonwealth countries.
