dc.description.abstractThe study examined the cause and circumstances of the phenomenon of indigenization which has been one of the peculiar traits in the history of Christianity. The study also examined how the issues of liturgy, festivals and Christian celebrations, among other factor, contributed to the growth of the indigenous Churches. It then highlighted how the indigenous Churches impacted on the people of the former Ondo Province.
