dc.description.abstractThis article presents a new solution using the semi-definite programming approach to solve the combined heat and power economic dispatch problem. The proposed method involves reformulating the combined heat and power dispatch problem into a semi-definite programming form. The resulting semi-definite programming problem is solved using the primal-dual solver. The effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated through some test problems, and the results are compared with those in literature.en_US
