| dc.description.abstract | This study examined the causal relationship between institutional quality and foreign assistance in Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria and Turkey (MINT); and determined the impact of foreign assistance on economic development in these countries. It also examined the moderating role of institutional quality in the relationship between foreign assistance and economic development; and determined the threshold effect of institutional quality on foreign assistance effectiveness on economic development in these countries. These were with a view to investigating the relationship among foreign assistance, institutional quality and economic development in these countries. | |
