Abstract
The study assessed the level of listening skills among nursery school pupils in Osun State. It also assessed the strategies adopted by teacher for enhancing listening-attention skills of children in nursery schools and investigated into the classroom activities to promote listening and attention skills of nursery school pupils in Osun State. It further examined the influence of teachers’ strategies and classroom activities on listening-attention skills of nursery school pupils in Osun State in carrying out instruction. These were with a view to providing insight into the strategies and classroom activities that teachers used to enhance the listening-attention skills of pupils in Osun State, Nigeria.
