| dc.description.abstract | This study characterised Gram-negative clinical isolates obtained from the culture of clinical samples, determined the prevalence of carbapenem-resistance (CR) in Gram-negative bacilli (GNB) isolates, assessed the susceptibility of carbapenem-resistant isolates to selected antibacterial agents, and identified genetic determinants and relatedness of carbapenem-resistance in the GNB isolates. These were with a view to providing informationon the basis for appropriate therapeutic interventions in the management of Carbapenem-Resistance Gram-negative-bacilli \(CR-GNB) infections. | |
