This study identified germination requirements and characteristics of Piper guineense seeds, determined seedling growth rate, determined the optimal concentration of auxin needed for root induction in vegetative propagation, and further investigate the potential of Piper guineense for micropropagation. These were with a view to providing information on propagation of Piper guineense (Black pepper).
