Abstract
The study assessed the socio-economic impact of sawmilling industries in Akure, Ondo State. The objection of the study included the identification of the locational pattern of the saw-milling industries in the study area, the examination of the impact of the saw-milling industries on infrastructural development in Akure and the assessment of the effect of the saw milling industries on the income level of the people in the study area
