The story of the African past is well known. It has been the case of a continent fraught with the painful experiences of slavery and colonialism; one leading to the other. First, the period of slavery was characterized by massive movement of the African peoples as trade elements to Europe. It witnessed the removal of the significant workforce- quantitatively about two- thirds of the populations which fell between the fruitful years of 18 and 30 years to Europe.
