dc.description.abstractThe objectives of this study were to synthesize and characterize isatin derived schiff bases; synthesize and characterize new rhenium(1) carbonyl complexes of these ligands; investigate the effects of variations in synthetic conditions reagnets with a view to studying the spectroscopic properties, predicting the stereochemistry and studying the antimicrobial activities of prepared compounds.
