Abstract
In this work, modeling and optimization of biotransformation of benzaldehde to L-phenlacetylcarbinol (L-PAC) using free cells of Torulaspora delbueckii in the presence of B-cyclodextrin was carried out. The model design was optimized using the Response Surface Methodology (RSM) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). Furthermore, investigation of the effect of design variables on yield of biotransformation products.
