Abstract
The study assessed the extent of implementation of the Fadama programme on poverty reduction and analyses the strategies adopted in the implementation of the programme in Nigeria. It also evaluated the fadama programme on poverty reduction among the target beneficiaries, and examined the challenges and problems militating against the implementation of the programme in the country
